10m Cat.5e UTP Snagless Patch Lead
10m Cat.5e UTP Snagless Patch Lead
This powerful Cat 5e cable reaches 10 metres, making it an incredibly useful patch lead for both home and work network systems. The main use of a Cat 5e UTP lead is to transport ethernet between a modem, router or switch and a device. Easily organise your network system, or choose the colour that you simply like the most, with a wide choice of colour options: blue, green, yellow, red, grey and black.
The main difference between a UTP cable and others is its copper wiring system. UTP stands for ‘Unshielded Twisted Pair’, and can contain up to four pairs of wiring, with the higher number of pairs resulting in a higher bandwidth. The nature of the copper wiring helps to make the connection smoother, reducing noise from crosstalk and also minimising electronic interference.
This cable has a performance of 100MHz, and as with all cables in the Cat 5 range, conducts both power and ethernet information.
Each cable’s boot is sheathed in a protective casing, which prevents snagging on carpets and other furnishings, which can cause damage to the wire and to your home or office. The 10-metre-long cable makes it a versatile wire that can be reached around large IT suites or between rooms in a house where the router and the computer are far away from each other.
All our Cat 5 cables are quality guaranteed for long-lasting network cabling solutions.
