This 10 metre Cat.6 UTP LS0H snagless patch lead is a sturdy yet affordable cable for use in both home and business IT settings. The Cat.6 marks the evolution of ethernet cables from the previous Cat 5 and Cat 5e, both of which it is backwards-compatible with.
Cat 6 cables contains four pairs of copper wiring and can carry ethernet connections over a longer distance than its predecessors, and is still fitted with the standard RJ45 connector on the end. It is used in computer networks which transfer at a speed of one GB per second or higher. The bandwidth of the cable allows up to 250 MHz frequency.
