Patch panels fall into the local area network section and it contains ports that are used to connect and manage incoming as well as outgoing LAN cables. Patch panels are extremely easy to install and the ones at Adept Networks are all pre-configured adapters. Each of our patch panels has been supplied with a useful cable management kit.

Each adapter will support a two fibre connector that causes a high-density solution, which is perfect for the server farm, data centre and general high fibre count installation. This sleek black patch panel has the MTRJ and LC connector series which is the small form factor style option.

Every panel has 2 cable entry glands, 24-way Splice Bridge, 4 self-adhesive cable management ties and 4 cage nut fixing set and even blanks for the ports you do not use.

The main benefit of using a patch panel is that you can monitor and handle any maintenance issues quickly because all the cables are organised in an easy to understand manner.

The Excel range of LC patch panels are sliding drawer ‘tray style’ housings suitable for either direct termination or splicing of up to 48 fibres in 1U of rack space. Each panel is manufactured from high quality 2mm thick steel and finished in Black powder coat to provide a strong and durable unit.

To the front of the patch panel the specified number of adaptors are loaded from left to right.

Each panel utilises colour coded adaptors, beige, aqua and violet for multimode, blue for Singlemode, and green for SM APC. Each duplex (or quad) adaptor accommodates two (four) terminated fibres. Each panel has included within it a set of fixing brackets, and a cable management pack which includes cable entry glands, cable ties, splice holders, cage nuts and screws are also provided.

Note that LC panels can be assembled to order using a combination of adaptors, pigtails and splice cassettes.
