These Category 6 cables are the standard required for Gigabit Ethernet and other network protocols. They are particularly suited to those that required backwards compatibility with Cat-5/5e and Cat-3 cable standards. The unique design features more stringent specifications for crosstalk and system noise, improving the quality of your connection. Additionally, the tailored design is there to reduce damage. A protective boot sits on top of the RJ45 latch, ensuring that when the cable is being removed or adjusted, the latch stays intact.
