External Unloaded Fibre Box 16 x SCS/16 x LCD

Compact external fibre termination enclosures are made from moulded plastic and are weather proof and UV resistant. Supplied in three sizes for up to 108 fibres, they provide protection from dust and water ingress with an IP65 rating. They can be used externally mounted on walls or poles as required.

The enclosures can be used as breakout boxes or splice joint boxes. They have a built-in patching area that accepts SC simplex or LC duplex adapters with built in splice trays which allow input cables to be managed efficiently during termination. There is a write on label supplied fixed to the inside of the lid which allows for clear fibre identification. Glanded Input ports are suitable for up to 12mm cable, with built in cable retention for extra security, and outlet ports are ideal for duplex or simplex drop cables.

The lid is hinged at one side fully opening to 180 degrees allowing unrestricted access to the patching and splicing area. When closed it can be screwed into place to avoid unauthorised access.
