One of the benefits of dropwires is that they are excellent for pullout locations. Meaning that the drops do not need to be run from the main cable to the junction box or even to the structure itself in order to install the cable but can be installed by pulling from the drop wire to the connection at the point of installation.
The wires are very soft and thus pull easily and can be routed through many small diameters. This makes them very easy to work with.
